Chris Bickerton is a lecturer in International Relations at the Department of Politics and International Relations, at the University of Oxford, UK. His research spans European foreign policy, European integration, democracy and legitimacy in the European Union, and the concept of sovereignty in international relations. Chris was co-editor of a book entitled 'Politics without Sovereignty: A Critique of Contemporary International Relations', and has published widely in newspapers and magazines, including The Guardian, Le Soir, Le Monde Diplomatique, Le Courrier International and The Nation.
