David Heathcoat-Amory is a British politician, and Conservative Member of Parliament for Wells. He is also a member of the Privy Council. He was a minister under Margaret Thatcher and John Major, and was William Hague's shadow Secretary of State for Trade and Industry from 1997 to 2001. He was a member of the Convention on the Future of Europe which drafted the EU Constition.
